Crosse Technology WS7213U wireless weather station displays both indoor
and outdoor temperatures in °F
and outdoor relative humidity in percent.
Outdoor temperature and humidity are transmitted to the station via the
included TX4U remote sensor. The station can actually receive signals
from a total of three remote sensor/transmitters (the additional remotes
are optional and sold separately). In addition to temperatures and
humidity, the WS7213U displays any of three weather forecast icons plus
a pressure tendency arrow if the pressure is changing. The WS7213U also
contains a highly accurate quartz LCD clock (not an atomic clock or
alarm clock) that shows the time in 12-hour mode.
wireless temperature station displays both indoor and outdoor
temperatures in °F
or °C. As with the WS7213U, the outdoor temperature is transmitted
to the station via the included TX4U remote sensor. Also like the WS7213U,
the station can
actually receive signals from a total of three remotes. The WS7034U
also contains a highly accurate quartz LCD clock (not an atomic clock or
alarm clock) that shows the time in 12-hour or 24-hour mode.
Both the the
WS7213U and WS7034U can be placed on a desk or shelf or mounted on a
wall. And because
these stations operate with remote radio transmitters, you won't have to
run any wires to get outdoor temperature readings.
stations keep a record of the minimum and maximum indoor and outdoor
temperatures they have recorded, and these are available at the push of
a button. On the WS7034U, the times that the minimum and maximum
outdoor temperatures were received are also displayed.
above, both the WS7213U and WS7034U can operate with up to three
remote sensor/transmitters. For these stations, four different remotes
are available. The TX4U (the one included with the stations) reports
both temperature and humidity. The TX3U reports the temperature and
displays it locally on its own LCD panel. The TX3UP senses temperature
via a probe on a 10-foot cable for use in pools, spas, soil, etc. Like
the TX3U, the TX3UP reports to the main station and also has its own LCD
panel that displays the temperature locally. The TX6U reports (but does
not display) the temperature.
because the smaller WS7034U doesn't have to display as much information
as the WS7213U, the WS7034U's LCD indications are actually larger.
and similarly styled, the WS7213U and WS7034U are dependable wireless
weather instruments with integral digital clocks--ideally suited for
both home and office use. And remember that with this combo package, you
get the WS7034U temperature station for free.
